Iklip
When it comes to remembering chords and words (mostly chords) I need a bit of help. I have used an iPad instead of a music stand for several years now and have loved it. I have found that with various options and cheaper cost of iPads, it is worth the investment to declutter your platform and make it a ton easier to negotiate chord charts. The old days of flipping through pieces of paper or a big white binder are gone. I have used several models of iPad holder but currently I am using the iKlip. I have found that this version is a bit larger than previous versions and the strength of the spring on the holder is much stronger. Previous versions have worn out pretty quickly, so I was happy to see that when the iKlip 3 came out it was a ton more robust. I believe I paid about $50 for each one of these. I invested in about 10 in total to ensure that we had continuity across the platform. If you have a mix of different holders and stands, to me it looks messy and could be distracting.
